My learning goals are to a) gain more experience working in QGIS and ArcGIS Pro, and b) to gain more knowledge of open source free data.
I have not use QGIS software before. Next year I would like to peruse Masters in Urban and Regional Planning. My goal for this course is to learn how to create maps for a specific precinct using QGIS. I would also want to gain basic of using QGIS software skills which I can use in the working place as a Town Planner
My goal is to to be able use GIS competently wherever I might find myself now and in the future with navigating QGIS, working with basic spatial data revelant to my intending MSc degree in Forestry and the subsequent projects I shall be involving in, and creating maps that could be included in my work.
My goal in this course is to be more confident in using Q_Gis.
I would like to be able to import and use differents open source free data, also to know differents file extensions that can be used in Q_Gis and, if possible, where they came from.
I have started a new job, on a large project site. I want to use GIS to import data on fences line, camera traps, wildlife sightings etc and to monitor the changes over time to the vegetation as it changes into different habitats, i.e, more native woodland, less bracken and gorse. I want to learn how to create shapefiles, import the data, understand the difference between data file types.
My learning goals includes: easy manipulation of the tools of QGIS to Import field observations, combine data from varying sources and different spatial reference systems into QGIS.
I want to make maps to compare the present state of our forest with their past.
Be ready for my master’s degre!
My learning goals in GIS is to learn how to visualize data specially in my research on the spider species in the our localities. Also, GIS can help us with my group mates in some of our field study in the ecology.
My goal for this course is to familiarize myself with the basics of QGIS so that I can use it both in my current academic projects and as a research tool in my future career.
My goal for this course is very interesting for me and it related with my field work and it is also make me familiarize with QGIS my favourite career for the future and also I had taken three credit hour when I was been taken my BA degree in Geography and environmental study course, now it Mach for that and eager to know more about this course
I am relatively new to this field and thus have very simple goals when it comes to QGIS. I’m really attracted towards learning GIS and converting data into visual outcomes as it is much easier for the masses to relate to a study with a lot of maps and graphs which helps the cause of conservation much more.
My goal is to continue improving my Qgis skills for herpetology application, to be able to better represent spatial data at scale and create explanatory maps distribution or variables that relate the presence of reptiles or amphibians
My goal is to gain confident knowledge of the program, so that I may create and map data for a variety of projects.
My goal is to import a vector map of South Africa’s coastline and combine it with my field data (abundance of invertebrates as well as eDNA communities)
my goal is to get basic knowledge on use of GIS, this will help me with my field data as I plan to further my studies and do Research.
I will try to show stranding map of Marine Mammals around Myanmar. As well as, I map out for the crisis happens around Mon State, Myanmar after the end of this course.
Hi everyone ,my goals for this module is to gain basin QGIS knowledge for me to be able to use GIS and have better understanding of modules that include GIS
Hello Everyone,
My goal is to learn to create map with collected data points.
My learning goal is to have learn basic steps to explore QGIS. My specialization involves a lot of remote sensing, therefore this skill will go a long way to help.
Thanks for this opportunity. My goals for this course is realy modest, being part of that team is my best goal, and we learn so many things. In the end of this course i would like to know more about how to create a map capable to transmit all the information that we found on the camp, and how to know what the information its most important to show on a map.
